Raspberry, Amaranth and Flaxseed Breakfast Pancakes Recipe

These fruity pancakes are a fantastic healthy breakfast option for babies, toddlers and busy parents alike! This tasty recipe was shared with us by our friend @eat_with_oscar, and you can make them at home using Mamamade’s Raspberry, Amaranth and Flaxseed baby food. They’re super simple and quick to make - the perfect baby breakfast recipe for overstretched parents!

Raspberry, Amaranth and Flaxseeds Breakfast Pancakes

Prep time 🕙 - 10 minutes
Cook time 🕒 - 5 minutes

Ingredients 🗒

85g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
50ml whole milk
1 Mamamade Raspberry, Amaranth & Flaxseed Baby Meal, defrosted

Method 👩‍🍳

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, sieve your flour and add the baking powder.

Step 2

Pour your milk into a small jug and crack your egg in. Whisk together.
Add in your Mamamade pouch and whisk well to ensure it’s well combined.

Mamamade tip 💡 Add some chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutrients!

Step 3

Pour the egg and milk mixture into the large mixing bowl and whisk until you have a smooth, thick batter.

Step 4

Add your Mamamade Raspberry, Amaranth and Flaxseed baby food pouch and whisk until combined.

Step 5

Heat a little butter or oil in a frying pan over a medium/low heat. Add dollops of your mixture into the pan and cook for ‪around 1-2‬ mins on each side. We hope your little one enjoys their healthy breakfast!
