Prep time 🕙 - 10 minutes
Cook time 🕒 - 30 minutes
Ingredients 🗒120g organic gluten-free porridge oats
70g unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp maple syrup (under 12 months)/honey (12 months+)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 Mamamade Sweet Potato, Beetroot and Date Baby Meal, defrosted
Step 1Preheat your oven to 170°c and line a small tin with baking paper.
Step 2In a large mixing bowl, add your organic oats, melted butter and honey. Mix together with a wooden spoon till well combined.
Mamamade tip 💡 Keep your little one busy - get them to help with mixing!
Step 3Stir in your chia seeds and your Mamamade Sweet Potato, Beetroot & Date baby food pouch and mix them together well.
Step 4Spoon your mixture into your baking tin and pop straight into the oven for 25-30 minutes. Keep an eye on them as they cook - they should be slightly golden in colour once done.
Step 5When they’re golden brown, remove your tin from the oven and cut the flapjacks into small squares in the tin. Allow them to cool completely in the tin - if you try to take them out while warm they won’t hold their shape. Enjoy!
